Emporia State University Partners with Athletic Solutions to Launch Corky’s Threads

June 2, 2026-Emporia State University and adidas are proud to announce a partnership with Athletic Solutions, creating new opportunities for both student-athletes and Hornet fans through the launch of Corky's Threads - official adidas NIL Locker Rooms and an expanded online fan gear experience.

This collaboration reinforces adidas' continued leadership and innovation in collegiate athletics by giving every Emporia State student-athlete who opts in the opportunity to build and promote their personal brand through officially licensed adidas merchandise. At the same time, Hornet supporters will gain access to a wide selection of general fan gear and sport-specific apparel for every Emporia State program.

"We are incredibly excited to partner with Athletic Solutions to launch Corky's Threads," said Steve Rodecap. "This initiative creates new opportunities for our student-athletes, while also expanding access to fan gear that represents the pride and tradition of Hornet Athletics."

Through the adidas NIL Locker Room platform, participating student-athletes will receive an individual online storefront featuring personalized adidas sideline and fan gear. Fans can directly purchase these items, with a portion of each sale benefiting the student-athlete.

In addition to athlete-specific merchandise, the new platform will serve as a centralized destination for Hornet fans to shop officially licensed apparel representing Emporia State Athletics. From everyday Hornet gear to sport-specific apparel, Corky's Threads expands opportunities for fans, alumni, students, and supporters to connect with and represent Emporia State.
